Job Summary
Payroll and Benefits Administrator responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states and overseeing benefits administration. Key duties include processing bi-weekly/semi-monthly multi-state payroll using ADP, ensuring accurate wages and deductions, maintaining employee records in ADP HRIS, leading Open Enrollment, COBRA administration for terminated employees, auditing benefit carrier invoices, and ensuring compliance with federal/state/local laws (FLSA, ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA). Will generate payroll and HR reports for finance and leadership; requires strong attention to detail, ability to handle confidential data, and excellent communication to explain payroll/benefits concepts. Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of dedicated experience in full-cycle payroll processing and benefits administration
- Extensive, hands-on experience utilizing ADP (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) is required
- Proven track record of successfully managing multi-state payroll compliance and a deep understanding of benefits laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
