Job Summary
Payroll & Analytics Leader overseeing bi-weekly payroll for ~300 employees, managing payroll timelines, pay-rate maintenance (salaried, hourly, route-based, daily), reimbursements, PTO, audits, and payroll analytics including variance analysis, labor trends, and pay-by-mile calculations; requires in-office collaboration with Finance and HR in a fast-paced transportation environment, using Excel and payroll tools (Rippling preferred) to deliver compliant, timely payroll and actionable leadership reports.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience
- Experience processing payroll for multi-rate or operational workforces preferred
- Transportation industry experience preferred
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools
- Knowledge of leveraging AI and technology to improve efficiency preferred
- Rippling experience is a plus
