Payroll Analyst

Job Summary
Coordinate payroll data with plant administrative and personnel staff to verify timecards, approvals, and payroll accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between EICS and WFM systems, while preparing and validating import processing for various bonuses and incentive payments. Audit payroll data prior to processing to identify errors, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions. Respond promptly to pay-related inquiries from employees and support staff, entering adjustments in WFM to resolve pay issues. Assist with quarter-end and year-end reconciliations, filings, and W2 processing, while maintaining and updating payroll policies and workflow documentation. Prepare financial and payroll data for audits and ad hoc requests, and participate in cross-functional projects based on organizational priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Payroll
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in accounting or business preferred
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Payroll function
- Ability to analyze problems and strong critical thinking skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Dependable and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred working knowledge of Dayforce or another automated payroll system
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Associate degree in accounting or business
