Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Coordinate payroll related information with plant administrative staff, medical, and personnel teams. Review and verify timecards, approvals, and payroll data to resolve discrepancies between EICS and WFM systems. Prepare, validate, and manage payroll import processing for bonuses and incentive payments while auditing data prior to processing to ensure accuracy and compliance. Enter payroll adjustments in WFM to resolve pay issues, including corrections originating from EICS. Respond promptly to pay-related inquiries from employees and support staff. Assist with quarter end and year end reconciliations, filings, and W2 processing. Maintain and update payroll policies and workflow documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency. Prepare and deliver financial and payroll data for audits and ad hoc requests. Participate in cross functional projects based on organizational priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Payroll
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in accounting or business preferred
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Payroll function
  • Ability to analyze problems and strong critical thinking skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Dependable and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in accounting or business preferred
  • Preferred working knowledge of Dayforce or another automated payroll system
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite
