Job Summary
Support international payroll processing for Japan, Singapore, and Australia by validating data, reconciling tax notices, and ensuring accurate quarter-end and year-end execution. Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to handle complex inquiries, draft Standard Operating Procedures, and lead team members through mentorship. Identify automation strategies to drive efficiencies while assisting with audits and workers' compensation reconciliations. This individual contributor role reports to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll, requiring hands-on experience with ADP, Workday, or SAP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- at least 2 years supporting international payrolls (specifically Japan, Singapore, and/or Australia)
- Experience with end-to-end payroll processing, including tax reconciliation and compliance
- Experience with payroll systems and tools (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, or equivalent)
- Experience reviewing, auditing, and reconciling complex payroll data with high attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and experience with reporting tools
- Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across HR, Finance, and external stakeholders
- Global Payroll Management (GPM), Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), or other payroll-related certification
- Experience leading or mentoring payroll team members
- Hands-on experience with payroll operations in Japan, Singapore, and Australia, including local compliance and statutory requirements
- Familiarity with tax agency correspondence and resolution processes for international payrolls
- Experience supporting payroll-related audits and workers' compensation reconciliations
- Proven success in driving process improvement initiatives and automation within payroll functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
