PAYROLL ANALYST

Job Summary
Conduct weekly payroll audits, reconcile general ledger accounts, and validate hours, rates, and tax withholdings to ensure accuracy and compliance. Investigate pay variances, coordinate corrections with HR and managers, and review master data changes from new hires to terminations. Prepare standard and ad hoc reports for leadership, support internal and regulatory audits, and develop dashboards to track payroll KPIs. Reconcile payroll interfaces, troubleshoot data transfers, and prepare journal entries for month-end close. Maintain documentation and controls while recommending process improvements. Full-time role with 80 hours per pay period; day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- Three (3)+ years of payroll or accounting experience in a mid-to-large sized organization
- Strong understanding of payroll processes
- Strong understanding of wage and hour laws
- Strong understanding of tax regulations
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles
- Experience with payroll systems
