Job Summary
Senior HR Payroll Professional responsible for accurate, on-time payroll processing, acting as liaison between employees, internal teams, and third-party vendors, auditing pay records by department/location/country, coordinating payroll system implementations, interpreting pay policies (vacations, leaves, disability, workers’ comp, union contracts, withholding exemptions), ensuring compliance with federal/state/local laws, driving automation via Excel macros, VBA, and RPA, and supporting global payroll initiatives with a hybrid-friendly, globally-minded approach.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in processing payroll and operations
- Proficiency with payroll systems such as RPA, ADP, EY payroll
- Advanced skills in MS Excel (including macros)
- Thorough understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with HRIS, Payroll systems, and ticketing/incident management platforms (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to communicate effectively at various management levels
