Job Summary

Process weekly payroll for employees across two luxury hotels by reviewing timecards, attendance records, overtime, gratuities, and paid time off. Ensure accurate and on-schedule processing while handling new hires, terminations, wage adjustments, garnishments, direct deposit changes, and tax withholding updates. Maintain payroll records and employee files, reconcile reports, and assist with month-end and year-end activities including W-2 preparation. Respond to employee inquiries, coordinate with HR on status changes, and prepare reports for Finance. Receive and record benefit invoices, set up payments, and support internal and external audits. Maintain confidentiality and assist with daily trial balances, credit card reconciliations, bank deposits, rent collections, and journal entries.

  • ability to set up payment and distribute across companies & departments
  • ability to identify issues and highlight for resolution
  • ability to assist during internal and external payroll audits
  • ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
  • ability to support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline payroll processes and enhance accuracy
  • ability to assist in completing daily trial balance
  • ability to reconcile credit card transactions
  • ability to collect & reconcile cask -bank deposit weekly
  • ability to monitor daily incoming wires/check
  • ability to collect and deposit rents for employee live on properties
  • ability to generate and distribute weekly overdue items and GL open balances
  • ability to make journal entries to record expense
