Job Summary
Payroll Administrator responsible for accurate, timely calculation and payment of wages across multiple states, coordinating with the Payroll Manager, reviewing time data in multiple systems, and ensuring proper loading to the payroll system while performing related accounting tasks such as GL and reconciliations. Responsibilities include bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing for employees and students, auditing time entries, reconciling uncashed checks, PTO analysis and reporting, staying current on federal/state laws, handling garnishments and W-2 issuance, and contributing to SOP development for payroll/time and attendance. Skills and experience emphasize multi-state payroll processing, knowledge of payroll regulations, and proficiency with payroll/time systems (e.g., UKG/Kronos) and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree or significant experience in lieu of.
- Experience: Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience with processing full cycle payroll.
