Job Summary
The Payroll Administrator role involves coordinating, reconciling, and processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for over 200 non-exempt employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing including Union payroll. Responsibilities include calculating wage adjustments, processing employment changes, managing workers' compensation wage requests, preparing payroll reports, and adhering to legal requirements. The position requires extensive payroll processing experience, particularly with Union payrolls, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience processing payroll
- Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience for a multi-state employer with multiple locations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent problem solving/judgment skills along with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines while handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, specifically with Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience processing Union payrolls, specifically 32bj
- College degree or equivalent experience
