Job Summary
Payroll Administrator responsible for multi-state, bi-weekly US payroll processing for 180+ employees, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and accurate data entry. Role requires reconciling timecards and PTO/sick balances, resolving payroll inquiries, and entering payroll journal entries into SAGE X3. Must manage benefits invoices, maintain I-9 processes, and support special projects. Requires proficiency with Paylocity and ADP Workforce Now, experience with Excel/report writing, and a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). Hybrid schedule available after orientation/training; compensation package includes benefits and 401(k) with company match.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, or related field desired and/or equivalent experience of 5+ years processing payroll
- Experience using Paylocity, ADP WorkForce Now (required) and SAGE X3 (preferred)
- Light accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel and report writing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
