Job Summary
Process end-to-end payroll for all employees using Workday and the Deel platform, calculating wages, bonuses, and deductions while verifying timesheets and records. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Workday payroll module, partnering with HR and IT on updates, integrations, and testing to automate manual processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws by preparing tax filings, supporting audits, and generating reports for leadership and accounting. Resolve pay discrepancies, answer employee questions, and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes including W-2s and benefit deductions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 to 5 years of payroll administration experience
- Strong, hands on Workday Payroll expertise
- At least 2 years of direct experience setting up, processing, and troubleshooting within Workday
- Solid experience with multi-state payroll
- Experience with garnishments
- Experience with benefits
- Experience with deductions
- Experience with tax compliance
- Strong Excel skills
- Comfort level with payroll reporting and reconciliation
- Sharp attention to detail
