Job Summary
Payroll Administrator responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, reconciliation, and administration of the company's payroll. Serves as the primary contact for Paylocity and Kronos/UKG, collaborates with HR and Internal Audit, handles month-end payroll entries, 401(k) reconciliations, and various payroll-related disclosures and reports. Coordinates regulatory filings, W-2 processing, and payroll-related inquiries; provides training on Paylocity, Kronos/UKG, and payroll processes; supports accounts payable and general ledger activities, and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance and five to seven years of related experience. On-site in Baltimore, MD; E-Verify employer with standard background checks; strong confidentiality and customer service skills expected; benefits include 401k match and profit sharing for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
- Five to seven years of related experience and/or training
- Payroll processing
- accounts payable, and general ledger accounting transactions
- Lean Accounting principles, Paylocity, Kronos/UKG, and Basware preferred
- Familiarity with one or more accounting software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
