Job Summary
Payroll Administrator role based in Vancouver for a multinational engineering/professional services firm. Responsibilities include participating in full cycle biweekly payroll processing for 700+ employees, responding to payroll inquiries, updating employee changes in BST and ADP, assisting with benefits administration and taxable benefits, preparing workers compensation and statutory filings, running reports, issuing ROEs, handling year-end reporting and reconciliations, and supporting other payroll duties as assigned. Requires 1+ years of payroll experience, proficiency with MS Excel, and familiarity with payroll systems; US or Australian payroll experience and BST/BambooHR/ADP WorkForce Now experience are helpful. Hybrid remote work option available in Vancouver, BC.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience in full cycle payroll
- PCP designation from the National Payroll Institute or actively working toward completion is preferred
- Payroll experience with an organization of at least 200 employees
- Familiarity with reconciling benefit provider statements
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with US or Australian payroll would be an asset
- Experience with BST, BambooHR, ADP’s WorkForce Now would be an asset
