Job Summary
Audit the dunning stack, evaluate vendors, and decide whether to optimize, switch, or layer to reduce involuntary churn. Drive routing optimization, network tokenization, and express checkout experiments to improve initial auth rates. Write specs, pull data from the warehouse, negotiate vendor SLAs, and present findings to the CFO. Own chargebacks, fraud posture, and regulatory compliance without a dedicated ops team. Set the roadmap, ship features, and measure outcomes using AI-native workflows. This role focuses on pushing forward a modern payments platform with a dedicated engineering scrum team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in payments product or payments program management, subscription or e-commerce
- Hands-on experience with payment orchestration platforms and multi-MID routing
- Dunning and recovery expertise: retry logic, involuntary churn metrics, vendor evaluation
- Data self-sufficiency in modern BI tools — you don't wait on an analyst
- Demonstrated AI-native workflow: you actually use LLM and agentic tools in your product work today. This is a minimum qualification, not a preference.
- Comfortable owning chargebacks, fraud posture, and regulatory compliance context
