Job Summary
Own complex payment operations including debit cards, wire transfers, electronic funds transfers, payment investigations, and high-risk payment programs. Resolve escalated issues by researching transactions, identifying root causes, and supporting members and internal teams. Support fraud and risk mitigation efforts in partnership with the Fraud team. Improve processes and controls by identifying efficiencies, reducing risk, and enhancing the member experience. Protect operational quality through quality reviews, trend analysis, documentation, and cross-training support. Become a trusted resource for complex payment-related questions while continuously expanding expertise in modern payment systems and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of related payments, operations, banking, credit union, or financial services
- Associate degree, specialized certification, vendor training program, apprenticeship, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with Microsoft Office and learning new platforms
