Job Summary

Provide independent Second Line of Defense oversight and constructive challenge across the Getnet Platforms business, maintaining a holistic view of risks affecting platforms, products, services, and strategic initiatives. Partner with business and technology teams to embed risk considerations into decision-making processes, assessing the risk implications of platform transformations, migrations, integrations, and other strategic programmes. Review business cases, implementation plans, operational readiness assessments, and migration strategies while consolidating insights from Technology Risk, Cybersecurity Risk, Financial Crime Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Third-Party Risk, and other specialist functions. Monitor key risk indicators, emerging risks, incidents, and control effectiveness across the global platforms environment. Support governance forums with clear risk assessments, practical recommendations, and concise reporting for senior management. Join the team in Madrid with 5+ years of experience in Risk Management within the payments industry.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Risk Management or related functions within the payments industry
  • Experience providing risk oversight, independent challenge or business partnering within a regulated environment
  • Experience assessing risks related to payment platforms, products, technology and service delivery models
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across business, technology, operations and risk functions
  • Degree-level education
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Professional fluency in Spanish
  • Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including payment and card processing and related technologies
  • Understanding of Second Line of Defense oversight, governance and independent challenge
  • Ability to assess transformations, migrations, integrations and strategic programmes from a risk perspective
  • Ability to consolidate information from multiple specialist risk and control functions
  • Knowledge of key risk indicators, incidents, controls and emerging-risk monitoring
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Ability to synthesise complex information and produce clear, actionable risk insights
