Payments Project Manager – 6 Months Contract

Job Summary
Contract Payments Project Manager to coordinate cross-functional projects across LATAM for a 6-month engagement. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans and timelines, tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, driving blockers to resolution, facilitating communication between regional teams, stakeholders, and global HQ, delivering status reports and dashboards, supporting resource planning and capacity management, ensuring adherence to PM best practices, and managing vendor relationships as needed. Requires bilingual English/Spanish, 1+ years in PM/PMO, fintech/payments experience, experience with Latin American markets, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Jira/Asana/MS Project; ability to work remotely and across time zones. Preferred qualifications include Portuguese, PMP/PRINCE2/Agile certifications, experience with card issuance or digital banking products, and prior contract/consulting roles.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English & Spanish (written and spoken)
- 1+ years of project management or PMO experience
- Payment, Banking, or Fintech industry background
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Experience working in or with Latin American markets
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Comfortable working across different time zones
