Job Summary
Payments Product & Market Manager for Australia & New Zealand (Sydney) leads the local payments product portfolio, driving the execution of product strategy across Cash Management Solutions including ACH, Wires, real-time payments, FX, and liquidity services. Partners with internal technology, operations, sales, risk, legal, and compliance to ensure compliant, high-performing product offerings; manages day-to-day product activities, delivers development projects, supports sales to meet client needs, analyzes pricing and performance metrics, and collaborates on regional initiatives. The role requires strong product ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate market trends and regulatory requirements into delivered solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of transactional banking experience ideally with a global financial institution
- Payables and receivables product knowledge
- Practical experience managing cross-border, high-value, and low-value payment products—domestically within Australia and/or other international markets
- Proven experience in the operation of payments products, demonstrated through product implementation, operational oversight, or product management responsibilities
- Team player; able to work with limited supervision
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including good decision-making and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong skills in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Proven capacity to prioritize, organize, and oversee deliverables autonomously
- Focus on accountability, action, and outcomes to ensure solutions meet/exceed client needs while aligning business deliverables to the firm’s mission and goals
