Payments Product Manager (LATAM, Remote)
$72,000–$90,000 year
Remote
Job Summary
Audit the dunning stack, evaluate vendors, and decide whether to optimize, switch, or layer to reduce involuntary churn. Optimize routing across processors, BNPL, and express checkout to improve initial auth rates. Write specs, pull data from the warehouse, negotiate vendor SLAs, and present findings to the CFO. Drive resolution when systems break and own the roadmap for the payments platform. This role focuses on rebill recovery and auth rate improvements within a modern microservice stack. You will work remotely in Latin America with US Eastern overlap, using AI-native workflows and modern BI tools to ship features independently.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in payments product or payments program management, subscription or e-commerce
- Hands-on experience with payment orchestration platforms and multi-MID routing
- Dunning and recovery expertise: retry logic, involuntary churn metrics, vendor evaluation
- Data self-sufficiency in modern BI tools — you don't wait on an analyst
- Demonstrated AI-native workflow: you actually use LLM and agentic tools in your product work today. This is a minimum qualification, not a preference.
- Comfortable owning chargebacks, fraud posture, and regulatory compliance context
- Remote, based in Latin America; overlap with US Eastern business hours required
