Job Summary
Vice President, Payments Planning & Analysis at JPMorgan Chase leads and coordinates high-visibility financial analytics and reporting for Global Payments P&A, producing executive materials, quarterly reviews, and budget overviews. The role requires collaborating with Controllers, Business Management, and regional P&A teams to drive driver-based analysis, accelerate automation, and deliver insightful decision-support materials for senior leadership including the CEO and CFO. Responsibilities include developing qualitative and quantitative financial analyses, presenting to internal clients, coaching junior staff domestically and internationally, and partnering to simplify processes while enhancing analytics. Required qualifications emphasize a BA/BS in finance-related fields with 6 years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, or Accounting and familiarity with financial tools (e.g., Essbase, IBM Planning Analytics). Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field with 6 years of experience
- Working knowledge of Banking industry balance sheet and P&L
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to synthesize large amounts of data
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive with a sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Self-starter with a drive to initiate improvements and build strong partnerships
