Job Summary
Drive all aspects of payment partnerships by prioritizing key focus areas, structuring new initiatives, and managing ongoing partner relationships across Australia and New Zealand. Proactively lead Quarterly Business Reviews with top merchants, secure incentives, and troubleshoot issues with development and operations teams. Elevate Adyen's market positioning through industry engagements, joint product development, and co-marketing efforts while providing expertise on global payment trends and regulations to internal stakeholders. Execute programs to drive adoption of payment methods across merchant segments and manage escalations between local, global teams, and payment partners to ensure resolution.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience managing accounts or partnerships in the cards payments sector
- Deep knowledge of the payments landscape
- Critical thinking skills to comprehend and interpret emerging trends
- Exceptional people skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both internally and externally
- Ability to make critical recommendations on decisions and dilemmas based on data
- Ability to concisely translate data into actions and results
- Ability to socialize recommendations internally to get alignment
- Ability to execute recommendations
- Comfortable scoping and structurally planning a new implementation
- Ability to jump into meetings with an engineer, a marketer, and an account manager
- Ability to work seamlessly with a global, multicultural team
- Proven record of high-performance managing complex initiatives to achieve outstanding results
- Strong understanding of the importance of data
- Ability to provide actionable insights
- Ability to track the success of initiatives
- This role is based out of our Sydney office
