Job Summary
Enterprise Payments sales VP responsible for growing revenue in Canada by proactively building a sustainable pipeline, self-sourcing client opportunities, and coordinating with Product, Coverage and Relationship Teams to identify opportunities in Canada; aims to maximize revenue through the full sales cycle from prospecting to implementation, including proposals, contract negotiation, documentation and coordinating product partners/implementation teams; travel up to 50% and ensure risk management and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of B2B (business to business) sales experience selling into the Enterprise segment within Payments or Banking industry
- self-sourcing leads that result in meeting revenue goals
- team-based coverage approach for a client
- strong knowledge of merchant services industry, products and services with technical acumen
- excellent communication with C-level executives
- ability to balance client needs with firm risk and interests
- disciplined time-management process
- ability to anticipate client issues and follow through with commitments
- knowledge of diverse business types, industries, markets, financial concepts
