Job Summary
Data Architect Senior Associate on the Instrumentation and Metrics (I&M) team, within JP Morgan Payments, will act as a data product business owner to define and execute roadmaps for data and analytics supporting the Payments business. Responsibilities include partnering with Finance and business stakeholders to solve problems with rigorous analysis, delivering fast insights for initiatives and urgent requests, owning ambiguous non-routine requests, producing rapid initial deliverables, conducting deep-dive data investigations, continuously reprioritizing in a fast-paced environment, supporting a shared analyst pool, and driving process improvements. Requires end-to-end problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations while ensuring data accuracy and governance across sources; preferred experience in MIS/BI/Analytics and Finance/Accounting environments with capabilities in SQL and Alteryx, and BI concepts like ETL, data modeling, and dashboarding.

- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder partnership skills
- 7+ years of experience in MIS, Business Intelligence, and/or Analytics roles
- Intermediate Excel proficiency (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP or equivalent lookup functions)
- Proven ability to deliver timely, high-quality analysis from diverse and complex data sources; strong attention to detail required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
