Job Summary
Lead data science and analytics initiatives for the Payments Instrumentation and Metrics team at JPMorgan Chase, developing dashboards, ML prototypes, and data products; automate analyses and scalable analytics, communicate insights to leadership, and manage cross-functional analytics projects across Payments Transformation. Requires strong SQL, data visualization (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx), Python, and experience with Databricks/Snowflake; background in consulting or finance and familiarity with payments industry.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a consulting or industry position supporting a data or reporting function
- Deep understanding of the financial services or Payments industry
- Experience using machine learning techniques and advanced analytics (e.g. regression, classification, clustering, time series, causal inference, and natural language processing)
- Experience building data applications using Streamlit/ThoughtSpot
- Experience building data visualizations using Tableau
- Experience using data warehousing tools, specifically Snowflake or Databricks
- Strong SQL programming skills
- Strong experience with one or more major data visualization tools including Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences across business and technology
- Managing analytics/data science projects from scoping to delivery, and engaging with stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously while providing regular status updates and meeting objectives
