Job Summary
Process Zelle and Bill Pay alerts, ACH transactions, death notifications, and account recovery charge-offs. Perform account research by retrieving check images and ACH inquiries to validate unrecognized transactions for members. Capture and investigate disputes and fraud claims reported via phone, email, or online banking in accordance with Regulations E. Maintain bill pay processing by reviewing reports, monitoring OFAC hits, and auditing deactivated accounts. Serve as backup for card reissues by compiling dates from core and processor systems. Requires at least one year of back office experience, working knowledge of credit union products, and proficiency in PC applications. Required Qualifications
- Requires education equivalent to a four-year high school education or general education degree (GED)
- At least 1 year of experience in back office functions including payment processing and/or card disputes
- Working knowledge of credit union products and services, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Professional well developed interpersonal skills
- Requires sound and accurate judgment
- Displays a willingness to make decisions in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate over the phone and in writing
- Knowledge of PC applications including Word and Excel
- Intermediate mathematical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of consumer lending and account opening and closing
- Experience with automated core banking system
- Experience utilizing smart phone and tablet applications
