Job Summary
Review and process ATM/ITM check deposits, remote check deposits, Fed check returns, Web Payments/Offset Fees, and debit/credit card disputes. Perform operational duties for the Credit Union's ACH and Share Draft programs, including processing, maintenance, posting exceptions, and member support. Handle deceased member notifications, card-related maintenance, and fraud alerts while tracking case progress. Enter Indirect Dealer ACH payments, post GL journal entries, and manage wire transfers. Identify potentially fraudulent transactions, escalate suspicious activity, and ensure compliance with NACHA, Regulation E, BSA/AML, and OFAC regulations. Maintain accurate records for audits and participate in testing new payment products. Requires one year of financial institution experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of accounting and balancing procedures
- Basic knowledge of card servicing procedures
- Commitment to member service
- Patience and understanding when dealing with irate members
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Well organized, attention to detail, reliable, self-starter
- Works well in a team environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a financial institution
