Job Summary
Post payments to practice management systems such as OMNI, Athena, Eclinical, and Eclipse, ensuring timely and accurate entry. Document payment denials and identify discrepancies between received amounts and allowed/contracted rates, communicating these issues to billing representatives, AR, or the Director. Batch patient statements electronically weekly, create invoices for attorney fees, and oversee the arbitration department by preparing files and managing scorecards for providers and patients. Requires two years of medical billing experience with surgical information systems, working full-time M-F hours. Join a growing healthcare team specializing in vascular care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of medical billing/medical posting experience for Ambulatory Surgery Centers
- Experience using Surgical Information Systems
- Ability to work with a high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- M-F 9:00am - 5:00pm availability
