Job Summary
Payment Posting Specialist I role focusing on posting ERA and manual payments, reviewing and applying contractual payor adjustments, and performing detailed follow-up on assigned accounts. The position requires strong attention to detail, Excel/Word proficiency, and knowledge of medical billing, HIPAA, and insurance claims. Familiarity with Central Reach, Salesforce, and Google suite is preferred, with remote-work capability and the option to work on-site in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of previous job experience in Payment Posting
- Strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance claims.
- Proficiency in Central Reach, Salesforce, and the Google suite of products.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Experience working both in and out of network environments is a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
