Job Summary
Payment Lifecycle Associate I in Payments Operations leads analytics projects across Global Core Cash Operations (Asia, EMEA, WHEM) by guiding a team of analysts and data scientists, developing data management standards, and delivering insights through data models, reporting, and visualization. Responsibilities include overseeing data collection, modeling, and statistical techniques; managing project timelines and resources; coaching team members; acquiring data from primary/secondary sources; identifying process-improvement opportunities; monitoring MIS data and ensuring SLAs are met; and collaborating with stakeholders to provide data-driven recommendations. Required skills include data modeling, database design, data mining, segmentation, reporting packages, statistics, Excel/Office suite, strong English communication, leadership and people-management capabilities, and familiarity with SWIFT and international payment conventions. Preferred experience as a data analyst.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate with Minimum 6 years — Financial Operations Processing experience with a higher vintage and good team management experience in similar environment.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, etc.)
- Excellent written & oral communication skills in English
- Strong personal computer and analytical skills
- Good analytical skills and knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Demonstrate leadership and people management skills
- Preferred working experience as a data analyst
- Working Knowledge of SWIFT & international payment conventions & practices would be plus
