Payment Gateways Specialist/ AM

Job Summary
ACE Money Transfer seeks a leader to own and drive payments infrastructure across corridors and gateways. Responsibilities include end-to-end acceptance rate management, gateway uptime, corridor health, real-time performance monitoring, RCA of declines, and cost optimization of routing; lead integration lifecycle for new gateways and local APMs; define SLAs; manage incident response, SOPs, and continuity; develop real-time and periodic dashboards; produce leadership reports; maintain vendor relationships and negotiate terms; drive automation of payment routing and failover; ensure AML/compliance in cross-border payments; collaborate with operations, technology, and partnerships to expand payment options and corridor resilience.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in payments operations, fintech, or cross-border remittance
- Deep understanding of payment gateway ecosystems, card schemes (Visa/Mastercard), local APMs, real-time payment rails, and remittance corridors is a plus
- API integrations, REST/JSON, payment gateway dashboards, SQL for data querying, basic understanding of tokenization and 3DS
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills; ability to translate data into actionable operational decisions
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships; experience in building and scaling payments operations teams
- Working knowledge of AML requirements, and financial regulatory compliance for cross-border payments
