Job Summary
Payment & Accounts Receivable Specialist needed to post insurance payments and adjustments to patient accounts, reconcile daily postings with bank deposits, manage refunds, verify claim status via online portals, and stay current with billing guidelines. Requires meticulous data entry, organization, effective communication, and ability to work independently within a finance/billing team; familiarity with EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, and medical billing terminology is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with EOBs, EFTs and ERAs preferred
- Experience with medical terminology, ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding and medical billing preferred
