Hardware-focused Payload Systems Engineer supporting Human Research on ISS/Artemis/ground analogs; subject-matter-expert for biomedical hardware (centrifuges, ultrasounds, Actigraphy, investigator- or partner-provided hardware); perform pre-mission software testing, write and publish hardware/operations docs, assist crew training on HRF hardware, monitor health/status of hardware/software in ground control, contribute to anomaly resolution, and develop operating procedures; requires BS in Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, biomedical hardware experience, and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance; on-site during training with potential telecommuting after certification; travel may be required; role aligned with ROI/HRP within HHPC2 at NASA JSC.
