Job Summary
Lead the overall payload design effort and execute integration and test for assigned satellites per customer requirements and Boeing processes. Manage design, procurement, and hardware integration while coordinating supplier deliveries and resource planning across the project lifecycle. Assign team responsibilities, ensure technical consistency, and compare actual results to baseline plans to assess performance and identify corrective actions. Develop detailed system integration and test plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams on Design For Manufacture And Test improvements, and maintain compliance with established systems procedures. This 100% onsite role in El Segundo, CA requires a U.S. Person for export control compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with space, launch vehicles, satellite programs, or other complex systems
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, and/or production system developments
- 1+ years of experience in leading multi-skilled teams
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location
- This position must meet export control compliance requirements
- A 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
- U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in systems or subsystem integrated product team lead
- 3+ years of experience with cross-functional team leadership
