Job Summary
Paving Laborer needed for a paving and excavating company in York, PA. Responsibilities include manual labor such as sealing joints, correcting mat defects with specialized rakes, shoveling/raking/brooming to finish edges, and monitoring asphalt quality for flaws. Operate small tools and a road saw; apply AC-20 on vertical edges and seal new joints. Prepare sites by clearing debris and obstructions. Must lift 50-75 lb, stand for long periods, and work in heat near hot asphalt. Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and a positive, self-motivated attitude are required.
