Job Summary
Repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and Empire line allied machines in the field; diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot equipment; prepare equipment for delivery; travel to remote locations with extended overnight stays; maintain safety and client relations; provide on-the-job training to technicians and helpers; document service reports and contribute to warranty recommendations. Strong emphasis on troubleshooting hydraulics, electrical, powertrain, engines, Tier IV emissions systems, warranty processes, and safe operation with MSHA/CDL requirements as applicable. Must have a valid driver’s license, own tools, and ability to work in varied weather and physically demanding conditions. Shift is 1st Day Shift; in-field, in-person work across multiple locations in AZ/NV/Eastern CA; travel to remote sites as needed; maintain safety policies and use diagnostic equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 6 months related experience
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
- Own and maintain required personal tools
- Completion of TRAIN test evaluation
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDL if required by state or federal law
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English
