Job Summary
Manage construction office and project administration for NJDOT paving projects, including document management, electronic processing of field reports, and daily contract document control. Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, RFIs, submittals, progress pay applications, and contract change orders while supporting CM project managers with field activity coordination. Process proposals, develop marketing materials, and create presentations for client interviews. Minimum 6 years of bridge construction inspection experience on NJDOT projects required, plus NJDOT Site Manager experience. Valid driver's license and clean driving record necessary. Salary range $40.00-$65.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years prior bridge construction inspection experience on NJDOT projects
- Experience of Milling and paving work
- NJDOT Site Manager
- Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains
- Ability to repetitively stoop, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 25 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification
- NJSAT certification
- ACI Field Grade I Technician certification
- ACI-CCTC certification
- Rutgers TCC certification
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations
