Job Summary
Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment, then conduct tests to detect discontinuities using advanced UT scanning and data acquisition methods. Establish examination techniques that ensure strict adherence to safety regulations while applying testing criteria to evaluate results. Organize and report findings, perform specialized inspections, and may instruct or supervise others. This role requires a CGSB UT level 1 and Magnetic Particle level 2 certification, with flexibility to travel up to 20% and work overtime on demanding project schedules. Required Qualifications
- CGSB MT2 and UT1 minimum
- CGSB UT level 1
- CGSB Magnetic Particle level 2
- Driver's License must be valid and have a clean record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- CGSB UT level 1 (Experience preferred)
- CGSB Magnetic Particle level 2
