Job Summary
Pattern Maker responsible for designing patterns to produce executable garments balanced to the sketch while meeting Laura Canada standards; review sketches with Technical Designers, create balanced patterns, write spec sheets and sewing guidelines, verify samples against patterns and sketches, finalize Tech-Packs for imported styles with measuring points, ensure corrections are implemented, and deliver styles to Production within lead time while maintaining the approved ratio and monthly design-pattern objective.
Required Qualifications
- Fashion Design Diploma or diploma in garment techniques
- 5 years’ experience in pattern design for ladies’ apparel
- Proficient knowledge of PAD system
- Analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, proactive and productive approach
