Job Summary
Create production-ready patterns for marine and powersports cover systems, translating concepts into accurate, manufacturable designs. Build and evaluate prototypes for fit, function, and performance while analyzing complex three-dimensional shapes to develop precision-fit solutions. Collaborate with engineering, product development, and production teams to solve unique pattern challenges and support new product launches. Maintain technical documentation and implement adjustments based on fit evaluations to improve manufacturability and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience creating patterns for sewn products, apparel, upholstery, marine products, or similar applications
- Strong understanding of textile materials, fabric behavior, fit, and construction methods
- Excellent problem-solving and spatial visualization skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a product development environment
Desired Qualifications
- CAD and digital patternmaking experience is a plus
- Experience with marine, automotive, upholstery, performance, or industrial fabrics is highly desirable
