Job Summary
Oversee contract security staff and provide safety, patrol services, and information to visitors and associates on campus. Train and supervise on-site security personnel, coordinate with contract/security teams for events, act as liaison with local/state/federal law enforcement, conduct CCTV reviews and incident reporting, assist HR during terminations, and ensure safety compliance and timely responses to emergencies and investigations. The role requires customer-service excellence, strong communication, and the ability to prepare and review incident documentation and reports for third-party claims.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- POSТ 832 P.C. certificate, or equivalent
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- Two years Security Supervisor experience
- Two years supervising contract security staff
- Law enforcement or private patrol experience preferred
- Excellent powers of observation and detail-mindedness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to push and pull gates with 50 lbs. of pressure
- flexible availability including potential overtime and rotating shifts
