Job Summary
Patrol Agent position with Goodwill of Colorado seeking vigilant, professional security personnel to deter and respond to security incidents across main and auxiliary facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining a visible presence, responding to emergency and non-emergency situations, providing verbal crisis intervention, performing physical interventions when necessary, escorting individuals, preparing incident reports, and enforcing client policies. Requires ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, understand written and verbal instructions, and complete routine reports. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; relevant security licenses/certifications and firearms/TASER training are preferred and must be obtained within established timelines. Employment is temp-to-hire with potential for full-time permanent placement; compensation is $19.29 per hour with benefits including PSST and retirement contributions, and 18+ age requirement. Position includes background screening and multiple compliance checks; physical demands include prolonged standing/walking, lifting up to 80 pounds, and driving as needed. Locality: Aurora, Colorado; on-site work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Guard Card(s) in the Denver area are preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required jurisdictional security licenses, certifications, and client- or contract-specific credentials
- Must successfully complete all required training and competency assessments including team training, basic firearms and TASER training
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse population
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet client driving standards
- Must successfully pass a psychological screening
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 80 pounds as needed
