Job Summary
Develop and maintain Manufacturing Data Packages including assembly instructions, workflow routing, labor standards, and tool designs. Support production teams through process troubleshooting, engineering change incorporation, and non-conforming material disposition with root cause analysis. Drive continuous improvement by reducing cycle time, lowering costs, and mitigating ergonomic risks using data-driven decision-making and CORE principles. Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators, both in-house and within the supply base, while leading corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence. This second shift role includes an 8% shift premium and requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM with security clearance eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience
- Ability to travel as required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and ability to apply Six Sigma and/or DFMA principles and techniques
- Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE) and/or simulation tools
- Experience with designing, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated tooling and machinery
- Experience with Refurbishment/Repair or Warranty requirements and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)
