Job Summary
Escort and transport patients safely within all hospital areas using proper body mechanics, strictly adhering to Sentara safety rules. Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and patients while ensuring accurate information transfer between central transport and other departments. Maintain a full-time night shift schedule from 10pm to 6am, including weekend rotations. This role supports the 2,38-bed community hospital that serves Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, and surrounding areas, featuring the RMH Hahn Cancer Center and a workforce of 2,600 locals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad or Equivalent
- BLS
- Previous patient care experience
- Must be available for weekend rotations
- Must work third shift (10pm - 6am)
