Patient Transporter

Transports patients and patient-associated items within the hospital, using EMR/tracking software, and verifies patient identity (name, date of birth, room number, destination) to ensure safe, courteous transport to requested locations. Maintains confidentiality and follows safety standards while transporting patients and disinfecting equipment; performs duties with respect, dignity, and empathy toward patients, families, visitors, and staff. Requires good communication, ability to work independently and with others, and adherence to safety procedures; embraces change and supports throughput of patient care. Education requirements include High School/GED; no prior experience specified.
