Job Summary
Transports patients to/from rooms and Radiology, assists in transferring patients between beds, chairs, wheelchairs or stretchers, maintains and cleans gurneys and wheelchairs, supports Radiologic Technologists with patient positioning on X-Ray tables; participates in CQI and team meetings, assists in orientation of new staff, adheres to hospital policies and safety standards, and supports mission/values of Dameron Hospital Association while delivering service excellence to staff and patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS Certification through AHA required
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Experience: Previous transporter or CNA experience in a hospital or nursing home preferred
