Patient Transporter

Transport patients, records, specimens, and equipment to designated areas throughout the organization while responding immediately to emergency situations with CPR and crisis management techniques. Maintain lifesaving certifications, transfer patients to wheelchairs and beds with minimal disruption, and operate patient stretcher lifts following safe operation policies. Use patient tracking systems for dispatch and completion of transport requests, manage transport equipment, and secure personal property while maintaining confidentiality. Work regularly with patients, providers, nursing teams, and imaging technologists, ensuring MRI safety training compliance when transporting to imaging services. Complete additional training on PPE, patient moving techniques, and care for telemetry boxes, IV pumps, and oxygen tanks.
