Job Summary
Patient Transportation Tech responsible for transporting patients to and from hospital areas (nursing units, procedure areas, testing areas, therapy, and laboratory) and assisting with movement of specimens, supplies, medication, and related items. Requires High School degree, BLS, CPR eligibility, strong verbal and written communication, and ability to use a two-way radio; up to 1 year related experience. Night shift on a full-time schedule with weekend/holiday rotation; duties emphasize professional patient-facing service, safety, infection-control adherence, and efficient transportation within a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
- Strong Verbal Communication and Writing Skills
- Ability to Pass a CPR Course
- Ability to Effectively use a Two Way Radio
- Up to 1 year experience in a related field
