Job Summary
Conduct mechanically appropriate patient lifts and transport patients, supplies, and equipment of all ages while communicating any special needs or safety issues to staff before, during, or after lifting. Perform related duties as required within the PACU department at St Marys Medical Center. Maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within one month. Work day/eve rotations with no call obligation, earning $17.39 to $22.45. Join a team committed to patient- and family-centered care, utilizing strengths to help others in a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire
- The safe performance of mechanically appropriate patient lifts
- Communicating to staff any special needs encountered before, during, or after the lifting of a particular patient, especially those regarding potential safety issues
- Assisting with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment
- Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
- Successful completion of post-offer screenings
- Verification of your legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
