Job Summary
Transport patients to various locations within the hospital, assist patients into wheelchairs or stretchers, transport patients for medical procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety during transit, monitor the scheduling system for transport requests and complete them promptly, and deliver laboratory specimens, medical equipment, supplies, and mail. Key skills include excellent customer service, strong communication, reliability, time-management, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Customer Service Experience 0-1 year required
- Medical Office/Hospital/Managed Care Experience 0-1 year preferred
